Dr Imran Rafi, GPwSI Genetics and Senior Lecturer Primary Care Education, St George’s Hospital, London

Imran Rafi is a Principal in General Practice in Surrey and a Senior Lecturer in Primary Care Education at St George’s, University of London. He has a research degree in Medical Oncology and has had his first book published by Elsevier Science (2006) entitled ‘An Introduction to the Use of Anticancer Drugs’. A background in Public Health Medicine complements his recent appointment as a GP with a specialist interest (GPwSI) in Genetics. He is currently involved in piloting a community based service, primarily around cancer genetics, as well as facilitating genetics education in primary care.
